The typical Burren landscape.

The day we visited the Gleninsheen tomb was a very bad day. It was pouring rain and it was very windy.
I walked for 150 metres in a strong wind, and walking on those slippery Burren limestone pavements was a real jeopardy, but I did it.
The tomb is in very poor conditions and almost nothing is left to see. The more complete side is the south one, where the horizontal slab is. It's 3.50 metres long and 1 metre tall. The whole tomb is 1.80 metres wide and it's aligned almost east-west, actually it faces east at 80°.
On the north side there's a broken slab.

UPDATE: June 12th, 2019 - While we were in the area, we stopped and had a better look at the tomb, with new photographs.

The tomb has only one of its stone still in position, on the south side of the monument. This rectangular slab is 4.08 metres long and 1.20 metres tall at the median point. Another similar rectangular stone lies flat on the north side of the monument. There are stones scattered around, one is on the south side and it might have been one of the capstones.
