The recumbent stone.
The red and yellow stick is 1 metre long, for scale.

Right outside the tiny village of Derrynacaheragh is this tiny stone circle.
It's in a private field, about 45 metres northeast from the cattle gate.
It has only 5 stones upright and one fallen, over a diameter of just 2 metres. The shape of the circle isn't perfectly circular.
The recumbent stone is at west sharp, it's 48 centimetres tall, 90 centimetres wide and 33 centimetres thick. The taller stone is on the south (185°) side and is 95 centimetres tall, 65 centimetres wide and 55 centimetres thick.

UPDATE: June 13th, 2016 - To me this had always been the stone circle of the dead tree, and now that the dead tree has been removed I nearly didn't recognise it.
The tall grass detracted a lot from the place which has a very neglected look. Compare the new photos, from number 7 on, with the previous ones.
On this visit I took more accurate measurements. This time I have measured a diameter of about 3 metres, with the recumbent stone placed at the west-southwest (255°). This stone is 45 centimetres high and 75 centimetres wide, and this time I have found a small round stone on the top of it to hold a feather, left there by someone else. Two smaller stones are at both sides of the recumbent stone and are part of the circle.
All the other big stones in the circle have an height of 80-85 centimetres. The stone at northeast is leaning against the stone opposite the recumbent one.
