The hollow in the stone has a diameter of 27 centimetres. The red and yellow ruler is 20 centimetres long, for scale.

Meeting of the Waters in Avoca is where Avonmore River and Avonbeg River merge to form Avoca River which will flow to Arklow and in the Irish Sea.
Next to the point where they meet, a bullaun stone is. A round hollow of about 27 centimetres in diameter is right in the centre of this block of stone.
Apparently the bullaun stone is known with the name of St. Kevin's Cup.
It isn't marked on the OS Map.

We came to the Meeting of the Waters two or three times before, but we didn't notice it, probably because every time we had come here the weather was absolutely miserable!
We didn't knew of its existence, we saw it by chance during this fourth visit at the place where the two rivers join.

This was our last visit for the year 2017.
