These two tall and massive standing stones are at the bottom side of a small private graveyard, which, in turn, is at the bottom of a neglected field, under a group of large trees, so a good pair of eyes are needed.
The two stones are 2.40 metres apart and are aligned along a southeast-northwest (120°-240°) axis.
The taller stone is at the southeast, and measures 2.30 metres of height and is about 80 centimetres wide and 48 centimetres thick. The other stone is 1.84 metres tall, about 63 centimetres wide and 72 centimetres thick at the base, tapering to about 43 centimetres at the top. It also leans to the northwest by 10°.
The setting for these two stones is fantastic, and the presence of the gravestones and the three crosses in front of the standing stones adds magic. Unfortunately, while I was visiting the site, the weather had a sudden change to the worse and it started pouring rain!
