This huge and wonderful portal tomb is in the middle of a field about 1 metre below the R727, past the Acaun Bridge on the Derreen River. It's 40 metres south of the road verge. It measures 2.65 metres in height, 3.40 metres of total width and 4.70 metres of length. It has three upright stones on the left side, four on the right side, two stones are the roof and two are the portal stones. The stone that closes the entrance to the burial chamber is 1.90 metres high and 1.17 metres wide and the tomb faces northwest (325°). I was being watched by some bullocks during my whole visit. Getting out of the field is the funny part of the visit.
