This ruined court tomb is in a field on a bend of R366 from Roscommon Town to Castlecoote.
A tree has grown within the burial chamber and most of the stones are missing or scattered around, and only the outline of the tomb is now visible. The court section is missing, apart from the two entrance stones still upright, a stone that once was the door stone lying on the ground and the low mound to the southwest.
The taller of the two entrance stones is 1.07 metres tall, the two stones are about 1.35 metres apart.
Some of the stones of the structure present natural cavities or hollows.
The tomb is aligned northeast-southwest (30°-210°), and is about 6.60 metres long and 4.90 metres wide.
The landowner to whom I asked for the permission to visit the tomb warned me that the site was just some stones scattered and it wasn't worth walking down there. Though the tomb isn't nice to see, I think it is a place to visit when in the area.
