This holy is in a private field, and we learned about it when we asked for the permission to visit the Barmoney Stone Row in the same field. This is the evidence that seeking the permission from the landowner is a very handy and smart move!
On the OS Map the site is marked as a graveyard, and is marked on the wrong side of the path. We searched for the graveyard, but we saw no trace of it. As a matter of fact the well is a small cairn of stones with an opening to the east-northeast (70°), flanked by two lines of stones. The well is dedicated to St. Cuan and its water, that is said curative for sore throats, is crystal clear!
