The first chamber seen from its entrance.

It's always a pleasure to visit this amazing tomb, especially when the sun shines on its whitish stones. This was our third visit to this place. The first one was on December 7th, 1995, the second on May 8th, 2002.
It's a trapezoidal tomb which measures about 48 metres in length, 20 metres in width on the southeast (110°) side and only 5 metres in width on the other side.
The court is at the east and it's very large. From here we entered the first of the two chambers which measures 4.10 metres in lenght and 3 metres in width, then from here we walked to the second chamber at the centre of the monument. This one is 3.45 metres long and 2.70 metres wide.
Some subsidiary chambers are visible in the rear part of the cairn, facing northeast (20°) and southwest (200°).
In the middle of the court is a pot where in Early Christian times iron were smelted.
The monuments dates to 3000 BC.
Though the busy N15 is just a few metres away from the tomb, the noise of the traffic is inaudible.
