A segment of the roadside wall has been painted in white to mark the site of the holy well.

This holy well is also known with the name of Lady's Well. It was formerly the holy well of Tullow, and it was said that its water was good to cure all diseases.
There was a patron here in the past, with so many people attending it. Then the well fell in disuse and was lost in the bramble and the vegetation until the end of 1920's, when Brother Leo Slattery started looking for it. He had it cleared of the vegetation, he had an enclosure built around it and a statue of the Blessed Virgin erected.

Today we see a wonderfully kept area, with white-washed walls with blue painting on the tops of them.
There are 14 steps that go down from the road level to the well to the southeast (220°). The well was dry on the day of our visit.
