Not much of the beehive hut remains.

On the flat surface of a rocky spur overlooking the Glendalough Upper Lake from the south there are the sorry remains of the St. Kevin's Cell. It was a circular stone structure in the style of a beehive hut.
The hut had a diameter of about 3 metres.
Today only some traces that give a hint of the outline remain. Two trees have grown on the spur and their roots have altered the site.
