The last time we came to Inagh to see the graveyard, we were welcomed by a sudden heavy rain and we had to give up.
This time the weather wasn't good either, it was windy and terribly cold, but at least it wasn't raining.
The graveyard has many modern and ancient burials. Some of the grave slabs are interesting indeed and are worth a visit, but the one I liked the most is a slab with a crucifixion on the west-northwest side of the crypt for the O'Connell family. The memorial reads 1689, so I guess the crucifixion scene dates to that year. The slab measures 60 centimetres of width and 62 centimetres of height.
I saw similar slabs at Turlough round tower and at Rock of Cashel.
