This church is also known as the White Church, maybe because of the colour of the granite stones it is made of. It dates from the 10th century and the first trace of a church in this place can be associated to St. Fortchern who is said he was a craftsman for St.Patrick. The building is absolutely tiny and simple. The only intact wall is the east one with a round-top window.
In the church, in the northwest corner, there's a square stone basin that was used as a baptismal font.
The inner dimensions of the church are 5.50 metres in length and 3.50 metres in width.
The church became national monument in 1939.
