A few metres from the graveyard, on the same side of the road, there's this bullaun stone. It's 2 metres long, 1 metre wide, and has three cups in a row. Two of them are 35 centimetres in diameter, the third one is 30 centimetres. The coordinates for this bullaun stone are N 52°49'39" W 006°34'16", S 96353 76092.

In this old graveyard you can see a beautiful group of cross slabs and grave slabs. There are 18 cross and grave slabs, and the head of what once was a high cross, known as the West Cross or the Mission Cross.
All the slabs and the cross face east.
The whole graveyard is rich in old graves and a visit is well worth it.
This graveyard was part of the monastery founded by St. Maedóc around 600 AD, of which no traces remain today.
