This castle is in the courtyard of a farm. When we drove up the driveway we saw it on our lefthand side but we saw that it was partially wrapped by scaffoldings and actually it didn't look very attractive. We were going to leave when the owner came out and told us we were free to visit it. We didn't refuse the kind offer. The castle is undergoing a heavy restoration and many parts are being rebuilt from scrap. Inside the castle there are more scaffoldings and building materials and tools. I think they are going to turn the old castle into a modern accomodation. All the floors are missing but it's possible to go to the highest level along a spiral staircase. I only climbed 48 steps. The castle is a towerhouse and measures 10 metres x 8 metres. The entrance is at east (100°). According to the owner, the building dates from 1570. He was very proud of it and took me inside his house to show me the photos of the place before the works began. Adjoining the castle is another low building that was destroyed by a fire in 1935.
