We first visited this court tomb on May 6th, 1998, exactly 8 years before.
This huge monument is at the end of a long path. You have to walk for 400 metres from the spot where you can leave your car.
It's a court tomb, but the stones forming the court are missing. The fallen capstone raises up to 2.5 metres above the entrance. The tomb is 6 metres wide at the entrance and the whole monument reaches the length of 18 metres.
The two burial chambers are separated by small vertical jambs.
Two subsidiary chambers protrude from the main gallery, one to the north, the other one to the south. The entrance of the monument faces east-southeast.
This tomb may have been the burial place for a group of persons living and farming in this area between 4,000 and 5,000 years ago.
The whole monument is in poor conditions and it's a bit confusing and requires extra attention to make it out.
