This huge and thick grave slab lies on the ground of a graveyard where a medieval church once was.
On its upper surface, under a layer of moss, a cross is carved in bas-relief.
The shaft of this cross sits on a square base, a solid wheel is at the intersection of the arms.
The slab is aligned east-northeast to west-southwest (70°-250°), the head is pointing to west-southwest. It's 2.14 metres long, 1 metre wide at the head and 74 centimetres wide at the base, and it's 23 centimetres thick, and it is known with the name of Kilgorman Cross.
