In the area of Loughmacrory Hill we have found this wedge tomb in desperate conditions. It is partially fenced and the vegetation has taken over the stones. A tree is growing from inside the tomb. I don't know whether it detracts from or adds something to the monument because of that touch of life to such a derelict monument. The court seems to be oriented to the southwest (210°). Three large stones are the roofstones for the gallery which is divided in two chambers by a septal stone placed under the front roofstone. It is possible to sneak between two of the roofstones and get into the gallery to have a look inside.
