Probably this is the only megalithic monument in Ireland which lies across a border, not only between two fields, or two counties, but between two countries. The border between Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland runs among the stones, and this makes the monument unique. This is a court tomb. The court itself is lost, only three stones on the north side of it survive. The burial gallery is aligned with its entrance to the north-northeast (30°), it's 2.70 metres long and 1.30 metres wide. The side stones of the gallery are still visible, along with the back stone.
