The holy well in the amenity park.

In the amenity park in the small town of Myshall is this fine holy well dedicated to St. Brigid.
The well is down a semi-circular ramp with three steps. A small shrine has been built on the slab that covers the well. The opening of the well faces northwest (320°). At the centre of the semi-circular ramp a modern grotto-like shrine has been erected in 1981, on February 1st, St. Brigid's feast day.
According to the records, a fair and a pattern day was held here every year for about 200 years on September 14th.
On the day of our visit to this well, though, there was no water in it.

About 15 metres to the north, in the nearby grounds, there's St. Finnian's church.

This site wasn't in our list, we read about it on a local amenities guide.
