The three stones seen from the border of the field while approaching.

This is a place I dreamed to visit since when I first saw a photo at the Brú na Bóinne visitor centre in 2002.
It's an arrangment of three stones upright and one fallen, aligned east-northeast to west-southwest (240°).
They are tall!
The taller one is at the northeast end of the row. This stone is 3.17 metres tall, 65 centimetres wide and 20 centimetres thick. It leans to the northeast by 19°.
The middle stone is 2.90 metres far from the taller one, is 2.92 metres tall, 65 centimetres wide and 20 centimetres thick, and leans to the northeast by 8°.
The shorter one is 3.70 metres from the second stone, is 2.30 metres tall, has a width of 80 centimetres and a thickness of 37 centimetres. This one leans to the southwest at an angle of 12°.
Next to the taller one, 1.30 metres to the northeast, is the fallen stone.
Another stone can be seen lying on the ground before the shorter one.
From here we could see the Knockdrum ring fort.
