In the burial ground of the small village of Delgany there's the shaft of an old cross dating from the 6th century. The head is missing and the surface is badly weathered, but the inscription is somehow still partially visible and reads "OR DO...OCUS DO ODRAN SAIR", that means "pray for...and for Odran the wright". So probably the prayer would have been for the commisioner of the work, whose name is unreadable, and the craftsman who made the work. About 25 metres southeast from the cross are the ruins of the Delgany church.
