The coffin-like shape of the huge and white slab in the Tracton old graveyard,

We stopped at this small graveyard because the OS map shows a red dot marking a grave slab. A former Cistercian abbey was on this site, but this building has long disappeared. Some centuries ago the graveyard was fenced partly with a wall and partly with a ditch, then in 1817 a Church of Ireland church was built, and this building can be seen today. This building was then extensively repaired in 1860. The graveyard is used occasionally and some grave markers are nicely decorated and inscribed, most of them are from the middle of 18th century.
Among them there's one grave slab that stands out from the others, and I think this is what the OS map talks about. It's longer and wider that the surrounding ones, and it's marble white. Its measures are 2.31 metres in length, 86 centimetres in width and 10 centimetres in thickness. The top face is not flat but has a curved profile, like the cover of an old chest. Sadly, no inscription can be read on its surface.
When we arrived at the graveyard we found the slab completely covered with soil and dry grass and moss, we had to sweep it clean before taking our photos.
