This is a bad imitation of the more striking Wonderful Barn near Leixlip.
The Hall's Barn was built by Major Hall in 1742. It was made of stone for the main structure and timber for the inner floors and other works, but the timber has now rotten and the external winding staircase is considered unsafe.
This curious building, also known as "The Bottle Tower" sits into a private residence which was undergoing heavy restoration works when we visited the place and we couldn't gain access to the property because nobody was in. The structure is about 8.80 metres tall and measures about 6.60 metres of diameter at the base.
