A closer view of the Big Well.

We saw the signpost to this holy well and decided to follow it, despite the fact that the weather was miserable.
The well is not marked on the OS Map. The name is Tobar na hAingeal, the well of the angel.
The place has a small altar with a statue of Our Lady and one of a kneeled and praying girl, very likely Bernadette. Candles and other items have been brought here as offerings.
There are two wells, the Big Well is southwest (215°) from the altar under a flat stone that serves as a lintel over the water. The Small Well is west (285°) from the altar, at very close distance under a small bush on a small mound.
Between the two wells there's a hollow stone, called the Wash Stone.
Unfortunately we had to make it quick because the weather changed from miserable to very miserable and we had to take shelter into our car.
