The hole pierced through the stone.

This standing stone is also known as Cloch an Phoill, meaning The Hole Stone.

It's a standing stone, now lying on one of its faces and leaning against the boundary hedge of an oat field.
A 29 centimetres hole has been pierced through the stone. In the 18th century it was believed that passing sick children through it could cure them.
