The nice standing stone is on the side of a lane that departs from the R592 road and goes to the Schull Harbour. Along with a line of small trees it forms an elegant decoration for the access to a small group of houses.
It's a rectangular block of stone with a height of 1.68 metres, a width of 62 centimetres and a thickness of 51 centimetres.
Seen from the west it has a rectangular shape, but seen from the south it's almost triangular.
The stone faces to the west-northwest (280°).
