The Derrycallan North wedge tomb is also locally known as Grannia's Bed.

It's in a private field, but stiles have been provided for an easy access. We asked the nearby house for the permission.
The tomb is in rather good conditions, almost concealed by the vegetation. The north-northwest side stone has disappeared leaving the chamber exposed. At the southeast side most of the cairn material is still visible. The burial chamber is neat.
It measures 1.52 metres of height and is about 3 metres long. The capstone's surface shows hundreds of natural hollows. The opening faces north-northwest (340°).
