A small stone house covers the well dedicated to St. Cumin. The water from the well leaves towards the east (80°) through a small lintelled doorway. The well is protected into a small square enclosure along with two cairns, mounds, that now form two stations for the pilgrims.
The reason why we came up here is because the site is far from the usual beaten paths. I saw a red dot on the OS map and wanted to see what it was. About 65 metres south of the holy well there's Kilcummin church.
