I don't know much about this very ruined church, apart that it wasn't a Roman Catholic building and that it's unsafe to get near.
All that remains is the belfry and a fragment of a gable on its east (100°) side. A doorway leading from the church to the belfry has been walled up.
The stone used to build the structure has a nice reddish colour which gives an amazing hew in the afternoon sunlight.
It's a silent and peaceful site, and to the southeast of the ruins there's a Ceallúrach, or Cillín, with a touching poem by Brid Ní Mhóráin printed on a white sign at the entrance of it.
