The south section of the doorway, the middle panel represents two hugging or fighting men.

A few hundred metres from the Kilteel castle there are the ruins of a nice church. It's not signposted but it's visible in a pasture. All that remains are the external walls to a height of about 2 metres. On the north wall there are a stone baptismal font and a fine grave slab mounted vertically against the wall.
The church has a very nice Romanesque chancel arch though almost completely destroyed and partially reconstructed, but the decorations on it are brethtaking. This is the only Romanesque chancel arch in all Ireland decorated with sculptured figures.
Among the most amazing ones there are Adam and Eve, a bishp, two bearded faces and two hugging or fighting figures.
On the south wall there's a granite cross.
