This wonderful quartzite standing stone isn't where the OSNI Map says it is. If it wasn't for a local woman we wouldn't have ever found it. It stands in a field at the end of a recently developed area. The field where it is had some horses in on the day we were here, but they were friendly. The field is private, but I was granted the permission to step in by a person living nearby. The stone has an irregular shape and is mainly white, hence its name. It's 1.82 metres tall, about 75 centimetres wide and 95 centimetres thick. The stone leans to the south by 21°. A mare and her foal kept me company during the visit, though the young horse was a little too playful and didn't want me to get near the stone.
