The tower house stands in the backyard of a guest house. Seen from the northwest. There's a doowray in the north (0°) wall. The northwest corner rises way above the parapet level.

We were driving from Thurles to Freshford when we saw this tower house just off the N75, so we took the exit and tried to visit the monument.
The tower house is inside a private property, a guest house. I rang the bell and the owner came out. He gave me the permission to take photos of the castle, but only from the two sides that face the backyard of the house. And he didn't give me any bit of information on the castle, unfortunately.

What I know is it's a 4-storey high tower house built in the 13th century.
The building is rather intact, it has a doorway in the north (0°) wall and two bartizans at the roof level, one at the northeast corner, the other one at the southwest corner.
The walls that I could see have lots of small windows, especially in the northwest corner, where I think, inside, is a staircase. This corner of the tower house rises way above the parapet level.
Two bartizans are at the northeast and southwest corners of the roof.
On the fourth floor there are three nice ogee windows. In the north wall there's a single-light and a two-light ogee windows, but they are damaged. The one in the west wall is perfect.

Hopefully I will find out more in the future.
