On the R559 from Dingle there's a cattle gate that close the access to a track that leads to an abandoned house. From this house, after 530 metres to north, there's this beautiful cross pillar.
The southwest face of it is finely decorated. A cross inscribed in a circle is clearly visible in the upper part of the pillar, while the lower part has different patterns and an inscription.
On the southeast face there some ogham marks.
The pillar is 1.65 metres tall, it's 25 centimetres wide at the top, but it tapers a lot downwards. Its thickness is about 10 centimetres.
Nearby there's a stone with a hollow. It could have been a bullaun stone or a font. About 100 metres south of the pillar, in the grass of the field, there's a fragment of stone that maybe was the upper section of a three-light window of an ancient church.
