The church is split in two segments, this is the west section.

I've been dreaming of visiting this church again for nearly 20 years!
For no particular reason, it has nothing special to show nor has it a notable history. As a matter of fact I don't know anything of this place. I just liked the position it has, high on a mound next to the N66 between Gort and Loughrea, or probably I loved the feeling of a virtually secluded place, though the busy road is very close, or probably I just wanted to relive the moments of a trip so faraway. We were here for the first time on December 9th, 1995, on a frosty and clear winter morning.
Not much remains of this church, the building is split in two segments, the east (90°) end with a nice two-light splayed window, and the west end with a narrow window and a bell-cot.
All around there are many beautiful and interesting grave markers and slabs.
It may worth a visit while in the area.
