I call this stone circle "the circle with the tiled path", because the first time we came here on May 16th, 2002, we walked up to the stone circle on a path that the landowner had arranged with concrete tiles to help visitors reach the circle without getting soiled even on a rainy day. Probably during the years these tiles sank in the mud and now they have mostly disappeared. The path from the parking spot to the stone circle is about 150 metres long.
The stone circle is still there, though terribly overgrown with rushes, and messed up with muddy puddles all around and cattle dung all over the place.
The circle is made of 10 stones, the one at the southeast (120°) has fallen. Another stone is missing. The diameter is about 6 metres. The tallest stone is at the northeast (30°). All the stones have a sharp and pointy look. In the centre of the circle there's a small stone that someone used as a macabre altar for offerings, a goat skull was lying there along with some coins and other small items. This means that in a certain way the place is still in use after thousands of years.
A standing stone is outside the circle, about 5 metres to the northeast (70°) and the axis of this outliner forms a tangent with a circle.
