This simple, undecorated and thin stone cross is east from the Glendalough Upper Lake. It stands on a low mound made of rocks, earth and grass. It measures 68 centimetres of height, 35 centimetres of width at the base and 53 centimetres at its arms, but it's only 4 centimetres thick! It's aligned north-south and it leans to the south by 7°. This cross and the others close by were probably used as stations on the pilgrims' route. Another plain cross is about 25 metres north from this one.
