Seen from the southwest (210°).

This standing stone is at the east end of the area of Carnbane West at Loughcrew. It's in the northeast corner of the field and probably it goes often unnoticed.

It is secured in the ground with a horrible stone and concrete base. The stone is pointed at the top, very wide towards the lower third and narrower again at the base.
It measures 1.49 centimetres of height, 1.04 metres at the wider point and about 34 centimetres of thickness.
The stone's larger sides are aligned northeast-southwest (30°-210°).
