The old graveyard and the west wall of the old church.

This old and completely ruined church isn't far from the post office. It seems this is the first protestant church to be built in Ireland in the 17th century, around the same time the castle in Manorhamilton was erected.
It seems there's a tunnel that connects the church to the castle and it is said that through this tunnel the native chiefs attacked the castle in 1641.
The church was abandoned in 1783.

UPDATE: June 2nd, 2014 - We were heading north, we drove through Manorhamilton and stopped to take some more photographs of this site.
The church is about 21 metres long and 7 metres wide and is aligned to east (95°).
The first two photos in this page are from the first visit.
