The first time we came here, on December 11th, 1995, we only saw two high crosses. This time we saw three high crosses and the ruins of an old little church with an ogham stone and a grave slab as well.
The coordinates shown on this page refer to the first of the three crosses, which is 2.17 metres tall, 28 centimetres wide and 19 centimetres thick. It stands on a stone base 77 centimetres high. The cross leans by 5° to the south (175°) and misses its left arm and part of the ring. The second cross is 2.62 metres tall, 48 centimetres wide at the lower point of its shaft, 37 centimetres thick and its arms open at 1.04 metres. This cross leans by 7° to the southwest (210°). The third cross is on the far side of the graveyard and it's been a real surprise. It's huge! It's 2.89 metres tall, 49 centimetres wide, 35 centimetres thick and the arms are 1.28 metres wide. It stands on a base that is 1.11 metres tall, for a total height of 4.00 metres.
All the crosses are plain, without the usual decorations with scenes from the Bible.
