Seen from the northeast. It seems that the yellow building in the background once was the post office of the village.

It's a typical wayside cross placed under a big tree along the R742 in a place where, according to some locals, was the old market place of the village of Kilmuckridge.
The cross is plain and simple, it's 93 centimetres tall, 29 centimetres wide at the base and 12 centimetres thick. Its arms are 54 centimetres wide.
It faces the road towards southeast (110°) and on this face it has the carving of a Maltese cross inscribed in a circle that measures 17 centimetres of width and 21 centimetres of height. About 150 metres north of this cross there's a Protestant church with a small graveyard which has some fine gravestones.
