Seen from the north it looks like a meaningless pile of stones.

This portal tomb is in a very remote part of the countryside. Claggan is a tiny group of houses at the end of the road. The last house of this tiny group is the starting point for a 400 metres walk to the west, up to the portal tomb.
The view from here is breathtaking! The Atlantic Ocean is right before our eyes!
The portal tomb is scattered over a range of 15 metres, but the main core is still recognizable.
The remains are aligned east-west, the slab on the south side is 2.50 metres long and 1 metres tall. All the main group of stones is 7 metres long.
