We already visited this monument on June 11th, 2001. It's in a field next to the Lough Gur, but well signposted. The tomb is 7 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and about 1 metre tall at the highest point. It is 3,500 years old and was the burial place for a group of people who lived in that area. The entrance faces south-southwest (210°). UPDATE: June 19th, 2015 - Third visit to this fantastic megalithic monument. The weather over here is always the same, cold and dull. The tomb is 3.80 metres wide and about 7 metre long. All the side stones of the burial chamber are in situ, the capstones are broken and one of them has partly fallen into the chamber. Around the tomb is still visible the kerb. Some loose stones are scattered around the tomb, which is aligned to southwest (240°). The first 8 photos are from the first visit and were taken from a video shot on that occasion.
