When we came here for the first time, on September 9th, 2003, the weather was bad, the place was badly kept, the grass was quite high and the crosses were completely overgrown, almost hidden. The site was a bit uninteresting, but nonetheless I wanted to come back here, and I did the right choice. The site has been cleaned, the sun was shining and above all the brambles had been cut away. Now the place is worth the visit.
There are the ruins of three medieval churches, one adjoining or very close to the other. There's nothing interesting about these buildings. On the south side (175°) of the middle church four magnificent small stone crosses and a decorated slab have been set into a base of concrete dressed with some stones. Three of these crosses are of an outstanding beauty, like the middle one that carries the date of 1685. The heights of these crosses range from 45 to 57 centimetres.
Unfortunately the crosses and slab have been set too deep into the concrete, so much of the information and decoration they had have been lost.
In the graveyard there are some interesting tombs, one of the grave markers have a perfectly round hole in it.
Two other slabs, one decorated with an inscribed cross, the other one with a coffin and cross bones, are against the north side of the wall surrounding the graveyard.
