Seen from the east.


This holy well is along a river walk, on the right bank of the River Liffey.
The site has been reconstructed in 1977 and a modern feeling is clearly visible. I think that it's even too modern.
A sculptured plaque is built into the stone wall above the well, facing northeast (30°). The water is clear, but the ambience is too cold.
The river walk continues up to an old graveyard where Lord FitzEustace's effigy /A> is.
