In the field behind the holy well there are the ruins of this old church.

When we arrived here to visit the holy well we found a television crew that was making the shots for a BBC programme about holy wells in Ulster. The lead man was walking barefoot in the water and was speaking Irish. It was absolutely interesting, but we had to wait for them to finish their job before being able to get near to it.
The water in the well is clear and it comes from some holes on the bottom of the pond. There are two sections of the well, the first one where the water comes from underground and a second one where the overflow water from the first pond goes before becoming a stream.
