The stream leaves towards the south-southwest (200°).

This holy well is not marked on the OS map, though it's well kept and visible.
A square pool is surmounted by a statue of St. Patrick overlooking the graveyard across the N60, where the Oran round tower is.
From the basin the water goes slowly towards south-southwest (200°) and after a few metres it disappears under the ground.
The water is murky and filled with algae. Hundreds of harmless midges fly over the water.
On the west bank of this stream of water there's an 18th century cross that commemorates Catherine Connor.
On the north-northeast wall of the stone basin there's a plaque that commemorates William Hanly who died in 1681.
