The new visit to this stone circle wasn't a very good idea, the grass is almost higher than the stones!
Looking towards the east.

On the OS map this is marked as Standing Stones, but it's more like a stone circle. It is a perfect circumference with a diameter of about 18 metres, made of 7 stones, and 1 is missing, equidistant among them and with a height from 1.20 metres to 1.70 metres. Of the 7 stones 2 have fallen, the north one and the northeast one. The missing one should have been in the northwest position.
All the stones are on a circular embanked rim on the ground, which has an access from the south. In the centre of the circular embankment is a barrow which is 1 metre tall.
It is likely that the stones were the guards of an important burial.

UPDATE: June 23rd, 2015 - We wanted to visit this stone circle again, but it wasn't a great idea. The grass at the site was 1 metre high, a horrible vision! The stones were almost invisible, but I took some photos anyway.
I have seen 5 upright stones and 3 stones on the ground. The diameter of the circle is about 22 metres.
The first four photos are from the first visit.
