The remains of the only guard tower left.

This sheela-na-gig is high on the east (80°) wall of the Ballynacarriga tower house. It may hard to spot on the wall, it is 9.20 metres from the ground. Due to this distance, it's difficult to tell the details. All that is possible to see is that the figure has a big nose and big right ear. Her right hand passes behind her right leg, the left hand passes in front of the left leg and both hands keep her vulva wide open. Her legs are short.
The inside of the castle offers many interesting features and decorations, but it was locked the day we came here.
At the southeast corner of the court are the remains of a guard tower.
