The ruins of the church seen from he northeast.

When we decided to follow the road to the red dot for a church on the shores of Lough Egish we believed to find something different.
It's nothing more than an old church with only three walls partially intact. The only nice feature is that it overlooks the lake.
The south (170°) wall is the most damaged. The east wall is the only one at its full and original height and has a large breach that could have been the east window, though it's impossible to say whether this was the original size. In the west wall is a small square window. Several plain head stones are all over inside and outside the church, which is 20 metres long and 7 metres wide.
I have found no other details or information about it.
