What a day!
When we started our day at the Cavan Park the weather was rather good and dry, but as soon as we began the tour in the park it started raining very heavily and we had to wait nearly 3 hours in the car for the rain to ease off.

A large and 1.50 metres thick erratic boulder makes the capstone to a boulder burial down a slope to the east of the forest track. This massive boulder has been levelled horizontally by putting some chocking stones under the northeast side of it.

Another boulder further northeast down the slope has dozens of cupmarks on its top face, as has the main boulder.
